About
Cheery Acres began as a farm in Henrico, Virginia in the 1950's. Over the years it saw ponies, quarter horses, miniature horses and two 4-H club come down the driveway. In 2014, the farm land was sold but the name lived on, as Cheery Acres Performance Horses.
In 2020, when COVID-19 put the world on hold, we decided to sponsor a online horse show to give folks the opportunity to show their horses while the world was on lock down. After two years, the online shows are still going strong. While we started on Facebook, we hae now moved to the web. We will still keep our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/groups/cheeryacres
in order to keep the participants informed; programs, pattern books, entries will now be headquartered at www.cheeryacres.com
